One thing every beginner should know
Knowing that pickleball is a game of decisions, not just how you hit the ball with the paddle.
To build smarter players, not just better hitters. Being great pickleball isn't about knowing every shots—it's about making the right decisions at the right time. I focus on developing court awareness, positioning, shot selection, and consistency because these are the skills that transfer directly into real matches. Every lesson has a purpose, every drill has an objective, and success is measured not by what happens during training, but by what students can consistently apply in their games. My goal is to help every student become a confident, independent player who understands the game—not just how to hit the ball.
I offer private 1 to 1 coaching to group classes, corporate events and conduct clinics for bigger groups.

One memorable moment I have was when there was one time, before the session, one student introduced himself and self-rated as a 4.0 player. I came prepared with drills designed for that level, but it quickly became clear that he wasn't yet able to execute them. At the end of the session, he humbly admitted that he had probably overestimated his own ability. That honesty really stood out to me.
Fun fact: To this day, he still isn't rated 4.0 on DUPR, but many of his friends have commented on how much he has improved since then.
I went to watch two of my students compete in a tournament. Although they lost and were knocked out in the round robin stage, one of them came to me afterward and said that I was the first - and the only – person there supporting them. It was such a sincere and heartfelt moment from him.
